My friends and I got IDed. It was no problem. We proved we were all over 18. The bartender then took the drinks back that she just gave us, and said she doesn't trust we are and that we were all acting strange. I found that insulting as that's just how I act. She had undeniable proof of our age. Yet insulted us and then took the drinks back for no reason.
We came into this pub due to it being well known for pool and darts. We weren't allowed to play darts as they don't have any apparently, just two dart boards. I find that hard to believe. We then got told by 'the owner' that we had to prove it again. We did. Then got told that we should leave. Kicked out pretty much for being over 18 but not 60 like all their other customers. Going into this place isn't nice either as the regulars don't seem to like new people.
